We will offer our 2nd 2024 The Matter of Balance class in April.

This evidence-based program is designed to reduce the fear of falling and improve activity levels of older adults.

The program is FREE and completed in eight sessions, two hours, twice a week.

There’s no heavy work-out required but easy to do exercises will be taught, that can be incorporated into daily life. Topics covered include: addressing fears, home and community safety, positive and negative thinking, and making simple changes.

The goal is to offer a wealth of resources and help build easy to apply skills.

The classes are for seniors 60 and over, that are current members of our Centers. If you are not a member, membership is free and can be done at either center (Call505-662-8920).
