October 2025 Meals

Please note: Menus have been switched the weeks of October 6-10 and October 20-24. Carefully review the menu below before placing your order.

Meal coordinators and kitchen managers craft LARSO’s delicious lunches. An approved, registered dietitian with the Non-Metro Area Agency on Aging ensures the meals meet nutritional needs. A hot or cold meal is offered at each lunch. Seniors (60 years and older) residing in Los Alamos County can apply for the Congregate Lunch program by becoming a member of the Senior Activity Centers.

Please call the center where you would like to eat lunch by 9:00 am daily to reserve your meal, or fill out the meal form below for the month. Please pre-order your lunches either weekly or monthly. Lunch is served from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. So that you know, we do not accept reservations after 9:00 a.m.

Prefer to print your order form? Meals are free, and the more individuals we serve, the more funding we receive. A $5.00 contribution is suggested to help support those who cannot afford the meal. Members aged 55-59 or guests can reserve lunch and dine for $15.

Meals are NOT served on the 4th Tuesday of every month, as we use this time for staff development.

A salad bar is offered every day at both centers in addition to the meal listed below.

Reminder: If we are delayed or closed due to snow, we will be unable to deliver meals. Home Delivered Meal recipients, please use your emergency meals. If we are delayed 2 hours, we will serve lunch on site, but it may be something different than what is listed.

PLEASE NOTE: The Betty Ehart Center WILL NOT be serving lunch, October 17 - 24th. We invite you to join as at White Rock for lunch during this time.

For our home-delivered meal members, you will still receive your meals daily. Please note that deliveries will occur between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM.

 Join us at White Rock for lunch.

If you would like to switch your reservation to White Rock, please inform the Betty Ehart Front Desk, and we will make the necessary arrangements. If you do not have a prior reservation, please call 505-672-2034 to book your spot.

 Transportation

We will provide bus service leaving from Betty Ehart at 12 PM and returning from White Rock at 1:15 PM daily. Please call 505-662-8922 to reserve your spot on the bus.

 Shelf-Stable Meals

If you are unable to join us at White Rock, we will provide shelf-stable meals for you to take home and enjoy, available October 13 - 17 at the Betty Ehart front desk.
