Our Scam Awareness Group is a collaborative learning program dedicated to helping people stay safe in a digital world filled with scams. By utilizing a variety of resources like books, speakers, videos, and classes, members actively educate themselves on how to identify emerging cyber threats. Through open discussions, participants share personal experiences to normalize these conversations and build collective resilience against fraud.

The Scam Awareness Group will be hosting guest speaker, Rebecca Rutherford on July 14. Rebecca has been working in CyberSecurity for nearly a decade at LANL and has been published with the Los Alamos Daily Post for seven years. Join us for her special presentation: “Don’t Let AI Fool You: Cyber Safety for Seniors in the Age of Scams“. We hope to see you there!
