Extension Get Fit
Are you ready to improve your health? Have you decided it’s time for you to start exercising regularly? A regular exercise program can help with weight management, reduce diabetes and stroke risk, increase energy levels and strength, and improve overall sense of well-being.
New Mexico State University Cooperative Extension Service is offering a FREE group fitness program to help older adults increase strength, flexibility, and balance. Sessions will typically meet twice weekly on Tuesdays and Thursday at BESC, with a few exceptions. The class will be instructed by Desaree Jimenez, Family and Consumer Sciences/4-H Agents for Los Alamos County who has been trained to lead the program.
