Join the Happy Ramblers!

Los Alamos Retired & Senior Organization and Pajarito Environmental Education Center are offering a NEW weekly walking group.

These relaxed walks focus on observing the many plants, animals, and landforms that surround us. The group leaders and participants will cultivate a connection to the natural world by emphasizing experience rather than exercise.

The leisurely walks will be no more than 2 miles in length (often less), take elevational changes slowly, and spend time pausing in one place.

Join us every Thursday at 9am on the upper level of Betty Ehart Senior Activity Center.

The group will meet at Betty Ehart and carpool to a local trailhead. No registration needed, walk-ups are welcome.

If you would like to receive updates about this group through an email listserv, please call 505-662-0460 or email Kristen O’Hara at kristen@peecnature.org.
