NEW Initiative: Member Advocacy Group

Special notice from the LARSO Director Jacci Gruninger

Exciting news for our Senior Activity Center community! We are in the process of forming a Member Advocacy Group that will bring together members from both the White Rock and Betty Ehart Senior Activity Centers. This new initiative aims to increase support and communication between staff and members.

The Member Advocacy Group will meet every two months to discuss ideas, share feedback, and provide valuable input directly to our Executive Director and/or other staff. This is a fantastic opportunity for members to voice their thoughts on programs, activities, and community needs, learn why things are done around the centers, ask questions, be more knowledgeable about the hows and what-fors at the centers and help ensure that our centers continue to serve everyone effectively.

Your insights and experiences are vital to shaping our future endeavors. We warmly invite all interested members to join this vital group. Together, we can strengthen our community and be more responsive to our members' needs, questions, and concerns.

In addition, both Centers now have a notebook called "Items for Advocacy Group: Concerns, Rumors, Questions & Applause," in which any member can leave a signed or anonymous comment, question, concern, or other input that the Executive Director or the Advocacy Group will address.
