New Services
Home Book Delivery
Are you unable to visit the library regularly due to low vision, limited mobility, or other health conditions?
The Los Alamos Public Library and Los Alamos Retired & Senior Organization have launched a new service to increase access to books, large print texts, audio books, and movies for our LARSO members who are homebound or have limited ability to drive themselves.
How does it work?
When you sign up to get books delivered, you will be paired with a library staff member to serve as your personal Book Concierge. Your Book Concierge will assist you in selecting library materials such as books, audio books, and movies that suit your interests. On the last Friday of each month, LARSO volunteer drivers will make library deliveries right to the front door of your home.
