A Note for the LARSO Quilters Group
Thank you for your generous donation of two dozen quilts for youth asylum seekers in the El Paso, Texas area.
Donations Needed
My Brothers Keeper is a volunteer organization that makes sleeping bags for the homeless. They are requesting gently used blankets, sleeping bags, sheets, and sleeping pads.
AARP Driver's Safety
On Thursday, July 13th, a 4-hour AARP driver’s safety class will help refresh your driving skills.

Receipt of $12,500 Grant
LARSO has been awarded a $12,500 grant from the Aging and Long Term Services Department to support local Farmers and Ranchers!
Betty Ehart Kitchen Renovations
BE Kitchen renovations continue. We now have a mid-August completion date. We will continue drive-thru lunches until the renovations are finished.
July 2023 “Word from the Director”
It's been a whirlwind these first few weeks as your new Executive Director. I am busy getting to know my staff, board members, the job, and of course all of you. I expect this will continue at least for the first few months!
